How do I connect to databases off-campus?

To connect to a database from off campus, click on the name of the database under Connect Me With on the left side of the library webpage. You will be directed to a Restricted Resource page if the database is restricted to authorized users. In the box beside "Please enter your ID:", type in the number from the back of your ID card. Make sure that you include the letter. Click the Tab button and type in your current password. Click the Submit Request button. Passwords change every year. If you have an incorrect password, see the paragraph below.

All currently registered faculty, students, and staff are considered authorized users and can get a password. Students received a handout during Fall Registration with username and password information. If you did not pick up your password, or you have lost your password, bring your Concordia ID card (NOT your driver's license or other ID) to the Charging Desk in the library. If you did not pick up your password, a page of information will be given to you that includes the usernames and passwords for the online databases, library catalog, and Blackboard. If you lost your password, your password will be written down and given to you.

Passwords cannot be issued over the phone or email!
